? Dr. Zoi Aliozi has a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy, from LUISS University in Rome, Italy and Georgetown University in Washington D.C., USA, (2013).

? Her Ph.D. research earned her the 1st award for International Philosophy Researchers by the University of Madrid in Spain, (2012).

? She holds an LL B Law degree (2004) from the University of Bedfordshire in UK, and an EMA master in Human Rights (2007) from the GCoHR in Venice, Italy, and the University of Seville in Spain.

WORK

?‍? After her Ph.D she worked as a post-doctoral researcher on international law, human rights and philosophy, in the Irish Centre for Human Rights, and as a human rights lecturer for the NUIG. (2014-2017).

??‍? 2017-2021, she was an independent academic, researching, writing and publishing on human rights and climate justice, participating in international academic conferences, offering remote tutoring and academic work online, collaborating on edited books, and research articles with academic and civil society’s institutions. As a human rights communicator and cyber-activist, she is offering digital advocacy & communications consultations under the ‘tech for good’ philosophy.

? 2021-present: Dr. Zoi Aliozi is the EMA Teaching Fellow 2021/2 at the Global Campus of Human Rights in Venice, Italy, where she is teaching human rights law, climate justice, & philosophy.

ℹī¸ Dr. Zoi Aliozi is a human rights expert, educator, and climate justice advocate, researching, writing, and teaching human rights and climate justice to international audiences. She is a communications consultant with a long experience in digital advocacy!

➡ī¸ She is an inter-disciplinary scholar, with expertise on human rights law, philosophy, climate justice, digital advocacy & distance learning; and has a special eye for IT, AI, new tech for Good, cinema & creative media for human rights education, digital advocacy & online communications for the 3rd sector.

➡ī¸ She has been working for the last decade with international teams about digital rights, online safety, & human rights communications. She is a tech-savvy communications & digital advocacy consultant; & an experienced social media manager for NGOs.

➡ī¸ Worked for the Irish Centre for Human Rights as a post-doctoral researcher and law lecturer, and for the Huston School of Film & Digital Media as a human rights lecturer.

➡ī¸ While at the ICHR, co-organized the Arts & Human Rights summer school, and coordinated & lectured in the Cinema, Human Rights & Advocacy summer school.
